Test Code URINCASD Urinalysis Cascade

Important Note

The Urinalysis Cascade automatically reflexes to a Urine Culture when WBC > 5/HPF, LE >= Trace, or Nitrite positive. If the clinical situation would require culture it must be ordered separately, i.e. neutropenia.

Indicate whether the urine submitted is clean catch, clean voided, sterile, etc.; also indicate the date and time of collection on the urine container.

*Microscopic examinations at MQMA are sent to Mercy Dubuque for completion; the chemical analysis is performed by MQMA.
